Chris Heaslip
Founder
Chris Heaslip is a highly successful entrepreneur. Originally from Auckland, New Zealand, he migrated to the US in 2011 to start a software company providing mobile giving solutions along with his co-founder, Eliot Crowther. As co-founder and CEO, Chris was responsible for growing Pushpay from $1M to $100M in revenue in just four years and stepped down in 2019.
Chris orders his professional life around the principle that success in business isn’t what you get out of it, but what you can give through it which would make a difference in people’s lives.
With this principle as a motivating factor, and as an experienced real estate investor with a portfolio of multifamily, commercial office, light industrial, and land development investments, Chris started Property Ventures Investments as part of a targeted multifamily strategy believing that multifamily investing can make a fundamental difference in the lives of investors and communities.
Chris resides just outside of Dallas with his wife, Sarah, and their three children.
Steve Basden
Managing Member
Steve Basden is the Managing Member of Property Ventures Investments, LLC, and oversees an investment portfolio comprised of multifamily, commercial office, light industrial, and land development projects. Prior to joining Property Ventures Investments, he had an extensive career in operations/logistics, and held executive positions in both non-profit and for profit sectors leading through growth and hypergrowth. Prior to joining Property Ventures Investments, he was CGO and Head of Special Projects for Pushpay, Inc, a publicly traded software company that grew from less than $1M to over $200M in revenue during his 8 year tenure. In addition, he has personal multifamily and commercial real estate investments as both an owner and limited partner.
Steve graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a degree in managment and lives in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area with his wife.
